Have the user login to the Elastix web interface using the credentials you created in step 2. Now that you have tested that the user will be able to login to the Elastix web interface successfully, it's time to train the user. Additionally, if you have an administrative user that needs access to any and every fax coming into your server, grant the Fax Viewer permission to allow the user to view a log of all faxes sent and received as well as allow viewing of the actual fax transmissions. If you wanted a user to maintain the fax extensions and make sure they were mapped to the proper user and e-mail address, you could grant access to the Virtual Fax List and New Virtual Fax as well (probably not needed - user would still not be able to edit the actual extension, just the virtual fax). To allow sending of faxes only through the Elastix web interface, the permissions needed will be Virtual Fax and Send Fax. While the guide gives a specific example of giving users access to call reports, the permissions needed for faxing will be different. This guide will help with setup of groups and group permissions in Elastix. Now we need to allow users to login to the Elastix web interface but only use it to send faxes.
